Rates and Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits

At Anne Keen Counseling, I am committed to offering high-quality, individualized care for every client. Below, you'll find detailed information about my rates and how you can use your out-of-network insurance benefits to reduce the cost of therapy.

Session Rates

→   Individual Therapy (50 minutes): $150

→   Couples Therapy (75 minutes): $175

→   Family Therapy (75 minutes): $175

These rates reflect the specialized support I offer, including my focus on complex trauma, somatic approaches, and anxiety. Sliding scale rates are available on a case-by-case basis. If you are interested in working with me at a reduced rate, please contact me.

Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits

While I am not currently in-network with insurance companies, many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy through their out-of-network benefits. If you have a PPO or a plan that offers out-of-network coverage, you may be eligible to get reimbursed for a significant portion of the session fees.

How It Works:

  1. Pay for Your Session
    At the time of your session, you will be responsible for paying the full fee. I will then provide you with a detailed receipt (called a “superbill”) which you can submit to your insurance provider.
     

  2. Submit the Superbill
    Using the superbill, you can file a claim with your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
     

  3. Receive Reimbursement
    If your plan offers out-of-network coverage, your insurance company will reimburse you directly, usually by check or direct deposit.​
