Meet Your
Therapist
Hi, I’m Anne Keen. I’m a trauma and anxiety therapist who works with people navigating complex trauma, attachment wounds, relationship struggles, self-esteem, and big questions about identity. If you’ve landed here, you might be curious about who I am and how I work—so let’s start there.
Working With People,
Not Patterns.
I’ve worked with clients across all ages, helping them gently unpack complex trauma, anxiety, self-worth struggles, and relational wounds. I especially love supporting men who are tired of emotional numbing and old expectations—and who want real connection on their own terms.

Healing isn’t a straight line. Most of us learn real change happens when our bodies, minds, and stories all feel seen—so that’s what I help you create.

Your Journey to Healing
My approach is integrative, blending Internal Family Systems (parts work), somatic and polyvagal techniques, and trauma-informed psychodynamic exploration. Clients usually describe sessions with me as approachable and deeply present. You’re not talking to a therapist who’s distant, you’re talking to another human in the room. You bring your whole self; I bring my full humanity too.
I have a soft spot for guiding:
-
Young adults figuring out identity and life transitions
-
Men learning to lean into their emotions
-
People-pleasers who are tired of doing it all
-
Trauma survivors who feel disconnected from themselves or others
It’s not just about rehashing your week. It’s about getting curious, gently untangling the knots, and finding ways for you to feel more like yourself. And yes, sometimes that process includes laughter—it’s not all heavy all the time.
More About Me
My interest in therapy isn’t just professional; it’s personal. I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from yourself during big life changes. As a teenager, major transitions brought culture shock, identity struggles, and attachment wounds I didn’t have the language for at the time. Therapy helped me feel like myself again. Cognitive approaches gave me tools to cope, but it was the deeper work—the kind that explores why we are the way we are—that truly changed things for me.

That experience shapes how I show up for my clients today. I value authenticity, comfort, and humanity. Some days are messier than others, and that’s okay here. I don’t assume to be the expert on your life—you are. I bring my expertise in therapy, you bring your expertise in being you, and together we create meaningful change.

My goal is to help you feel seen and understood, while also challenging you when needed. Growth can be uncomfortable, but I’ll be right there with you. Even if you arrive with a clear goal, we’ll explore the deeper meaning behind it—what it represents, why it matters, and how to align it with your true self. I’m not here to help you “fit in” better; I’m here to help you feel more you.
Outside the therapy room, I’m working on my own self-care and trying new hobbies. I love the Orlando food scene and often explore new restaurants. And a fun fact: I’m a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, something I’ve practiced since I was six. It’s taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of showing up, even on the hard days—lessons I bring into my work.

Why I Do This Work
I’ve always been curious about what shapes people—their choices, their patterns, the way they respond to life. Over the years, I realized a lot of us are moving through the world carrying stories we’ve never had the chance to really unpack. Sometimes those stories belong to us, and sometimes they’re ones we picked up from other people along the way.

Therapy, for me, is about creating a space where those stories can come to light—not to dwell on the past forever, but to understand it well enough that it stops running the show.
